Hello my name is Julie and welcome to my parenting blog. I have been married for 12 years and have three beautiful children; an 11 year old boy, 7 year old girl, and a 20 month old girl. This blog was created to help me fulfill a course requirement, but it also allows me to document what I have learned about children and being a good parent. There is so much that parents have to learn as they go, having a good knowledge base, hopefully, will help prepare them for those tough times, as well as the good times.
It's not only children who grow. Parents do too. As much as we watch to see what our children do with their lives, they are watching us to see what we do with ours. I can't tell my children to reach for the sun. All I can do is reach for it, myself. ~Joyce Maynard
